Welcome to Musical Cars, a new feature where I submit a song, and you the listener pick the perfect car to go along with the song.
Today's song is "Love Machine" by The Miracles. Take it away, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
" Love Machine " is a 1975 single recorded by !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! group !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , taken from their album !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .This song was a # 1 Pop smash on the Billboard Hot 100 , and the biggest-selling hit single of The Miracles' career.
There will be three awards given, as judged by me; Best Car to the best car selection for the music, Worst Car for the worst car selection for the music, and Most Unique for the car for the music.
Best Car - The car that fits the music selection the best.
Worst Car - The car that is almost completely opposite of the music selection. This is a humorous award, and is in no way a failure
Most Unique Car - This is either best or worst, but with the most unique view on fitting the music. For a song like, say, New York New York by Frank Sinatra, one would choose a Horse Drawn Carriage (may be banned from New York).
Now, for the winners of this first edition of Musical Cars, here they are;
Best Car - jariten1781 with the Caddy Wagon. Truly, a 70's love machine if there ever was one. While Cadillac was the marque that was in my mind for this edition, the Cadillac Elodrado wagon was a forgotten love machine of the 70's.
Worst Car - cbell04 with the "love" van. There may be love going on in that van, but best case is that any lovin is filled with tears of regret. Worst case is that the lovin is non-consensual.
Most Unique - toddb234, because there's a lot of truth in a Neon being a love machine, but only for one person. I knew a girl who had one of these once. It really only did work for nobody but her.
Thanks to everyone who played. Stop back next time, for another rockin' edition of Musical Cars.
edit - Bumping for the night crew, with better award explanations
edit - Now with more awards!

Seems like a friendly enough little car that just wanted a little love... and for you to ignore it's many shortcomings. In addition, they seemed to only work for certain owners after so long.

Any 70's van..
Shag carpet floor to ceiling, swiveling captains chairs, back when vans were cool I think you get the point.

Caddy coupe is the quintessential 70s pimp car. Wagonized version of said coupe is just a love machine.

What about a Love Removal Machine? Would that be like... a Geo Metro?

In my case, a Kia Optima.
